These are our two RV's right now. They are both towed or carried by "The Rock", our 2004 Chevy 2500HD Duramax Diesel with Allison transmission. Our model has an extended cab and a short bed equipped with a 45 gallon auxilary fuel tank when towing. The "Rock" has given us good service and provided us lots of fun over it's 93,000 miles so far.

This is our '98 Damon Challenger. It is a 36' rear kitchen with bedroom and living area slides. We purchased this as a used unit in 2002 cause we fell in love with it. We are always lookin at others, new & used but have not seen anything that fits the bill like the Challenger. I keep sayin' when it comes time to replace her we're gonna have to go to a custom unit to get the floorplan and features we want. The RV of your dreams would ideally fit your needs. Most times people buy and then adapt to thier rig with some regrets thinking "I wish it had this" or "I wish they had put this here and that there".

I have improved on some features in our rig but overall it fits us fine. I have included a link to pictures of improvements on our RV Projects page.

Here is our new (To Us) Lance Camper. It is a Lance Lite 845 built for a shortbed truck. We purchased this unit to take us on a trip to Alaska, the summer of 2007. Linda insisted we use a truck camper for the trip to Alaska, saying the 5ver was to big to take on the road up there. We shopped for months until we found this one. There were days we spent in our 'Jammies' she on one computer, me on the other, searching the internet. She found this in Ohio in the middle of January, it's like brand new even though it's a 2000 model. It had lived most of it's life in a barn, nice and dry.
It has a wet bath, heated holding tanks, remote electric jacks and an extended cabover with longitudinal queen bed. We have added a 8300BTU air conditioner, electrified the water heater, extra 110 outlets, batwing TV antenna and a rack on the bumper for our 2000 watt generator. Future plans include more 110 outlets and a new cabinet for our flat screen TV. Our photo album page has some of the projects posted.
